My arena is 519 feet long and 182 feet tall (not counting any housing for npcs). I have 8 layers of platforms which are 10 tiles apart. It’s not in space, but it’s close enough that harpies tend to visit the top layers. Etherian Mana is used to summon Towers and Traps in the Old One's Army event. It has a high chance to be dropped by all of the Old One's Army event enemies. Each wave will produce Etherian Mana in multiples of ten - after receiving a starting amount of ten when activating the Eternia Crystal, each wave will produce either 20 or 30 Etherian Mana. Based on your gear I'm going to say you've beat EoW/BoC. Try extending the other end into the desert and move the stand to the left. If there's any block in the 10 block height it will stop the spawn. Also try clicking the stand with any item but the crystal.

I only use it for Old One's Army, because I have other arenas for bosses and events. There are restrictions in place for Old One's Army that aren't applicable to other events, so this arena was pretty much optimized around those restrictions.
