The C308 is built off of a mishmash of Cetme and HK parts. Those parts are compatible, but need more fitment and finish to mesh properly. Fit and finish is something Century is notoriously poor at. The PTRs are built from the ground up off of surplussed HK G3 tooling, if I recall correctly, and it shows. Recently i came across a wood furniture C308 that has really caught my interest. General thoughts? Ive heard a lot of really good things, and some bad things (especially from older models). Would this be a good buy along with a good optic and maybe a new hand guard from HKparts?
