The enclave flamer benefits from rifleman perks, not commando. It's a fun gun to play with. Enclave is just a better version of plasma gun and can now be made legendary so yeah…also all the big you tubers have made a video on it recently, like soloing Earle, probably why it’s so popular atm. I've always seen plasma guns with flamers. It is pretty powerful if you can keep it fed.
