After having our 27FB GT in for our last warranty work at Airstream Adventures for almost 3 months, with nothing completed I am looking for repair facility options that some may have used for your TT's that you have been happy with.

First of all, my apologies to the contributing authors of the 153 page manifesto, but I find that it's "unreadable" for what I'm looking for: the best way to treat (or not) filiform corrosion in my 2007 Safari.1. "Tire iron" that fits your lug nuts. 2. 6 point deep socket with a breaker bar. 3. I prefer a battery operated 1/2" drive impact gun to remove lug nuts...quick with no muss or fuss. 4. "Road Service". Any of the "Big Box" auto parts stores will be able to help with acquiring the tool part of things.

Dec 24, 2022 · My Front end seperation Repair. I took my 2018 33 Classic to Vinnie's Northbay Airstream Wilton CA for repairs and he found FES. The cost to repair is high 3500 but needed to be done. He has custom bracket's that he designed that are more robust than Airstream uses. Added a new front panel and additional rivets up and down.
Now the insurance co. will pay to replace them. I go to the Portland Airstream and there estimate goes like this. $545 for each panel (I can live with this because it includes shipping from Ohio to Oregon). then they want the same $120 per hour for labor BUT, they want 10 hours per panel at a cost of $1,300 per panel.
Note make sure you are covered with clothing, gloves, and goggles you are willing to throw away. Anything the foam gets on is toast. Covered the ground under the trailer and shot the foam.
