ABout the 40K Precons, i think are probably the top notch, mainly because they are very tight, focused themes. Unlike most Precons, this ones have a clear idea of what they want to do, and most of the new cards work to do so Now if we talk about wich one is the best, i think it shall be a tie beetwen Necrons and Tyranids.

I bought the Elven Empire deck a little after some New Capenna/Dominaria/Kamigawa precons (those all had the wide box with latches) and the Elven Empire box is just wrecked, while all of the wide boxes with latches are just fine. ... All of the decks contain at least a couple of cards worth between $5-10 and I can see a lot of the legendaries from the precons becoming good and unique commanders. I don't see the 2017 commander precons being that much more insane than these and 2 of those decks are worth ~$300 sealed.
