I have a Trane XL824 thermostat connected to a Trane Resolute (Gree Flex rebrand) indoor air handler/outdoor heat pump. My air handler comes with heat strips. I'm trying to understand the behavior of the heat strips and under what circumstances they come on. I've provided the wiring diagram that applies to my system. See attached.
