If your watch had 40 tubes you could pay close to $500 to replace those tubes in today's dollars. Luming batons is a lot easier than luming numbers and the numbers on the 126900 were a little slimmed down from the 116900 so applying lume directly on the dial to light up the numerals is no easy task as they're not on larger white gold raised templates.The Seiko is white and goes on when in darkness. The Citizen is very strong initially with the hand lume stronger than the dial. The Seiko is also equally strong with the hands and dial the same. The Seiko lasts longer through the night, but both brands are legible all night to the next morning. Ten past ten.
