Hey everyone so I've been playing the 10 years later mod recently and I've noticed that as soon as I get scratched my wound becomes infected. It's almost instantaneous. I don't even get the chance to apply a bandage or alcohol wipes or a bottle of disinfectant to it.
Sounds like sterilized bandages help. The wiki states: disinfecting the wound and then applying a sterilized bandage or sterilized rag onto it further lowers the chance of infection, or helps clear it in the event that it's broken out.Multiplayer bites infection chance. If you're not fed, the infection will cause you to lose health. You've just got to play it safe and eat a lot til it can heal. Wounds still cause pain until they heal up from what I can tell. Keep taking painkillers to dull the pain. Sleeping pills will also let you sleep even with pain. If the game is blocking out the sleep option due to pain/anxiety you can override it by: Taking painkillers or beta blockers for pain/anxiety respectively.
