Nothing is better than the Bard at this. Cha focus, Expertise, lots of spells. Zariels smites are just okay, Thaumaturgy is the real MVP meaning I can reliably intimidate. Also Swords Bard got changes that make ranged easier to use with Flourishes, and being able to switch between melee and ranged is valuable.
