The Camry’s suspension was super loose, like driving a trampoline at times which was super comfortable. The RAV4’s suspension is definitely more rigid but tbh I don’t really notice it as much as I thought I would coming from the Camry. 2022 rav4 VS new 2022 kia sportage. So I'm looking at buying a 2022 updated shape rav4 hybrid bruiser in Australia. The car seems like a great bit of kit but is starting to look a little dated inside. I test drive the new kia sportage and the cabin is miles ahead in terms of tech than the rav 4. Short answer- no. You can manage without 4x4/awd. However, you'll need to exercise caution and common sense off-pavement and know the limits of the vehicle. For instance, you might be able to go down a road to camp- and be unable to leave after overnight rains.
