Replaced the high pressure fuel filter cleaned out the fuel injectors and took the VST apart and cleaned out. Also took low pressure fuel pump apart and clean. Lot of junk fuel left over in them.

My problem is that while in gear (F & R) @ idle, when I shift into Neutral, the engine stalls every time. It will immediately start with the ignition key while in Neutral.

I bought a pontoon a few weeks ago with the 90 hp 4 stroke efi motor. It had been stored for about a year and it had ethanol fuel in it. I used 3/8" fuel line, when I pump the bulb while it's running it improves, but stiil doesn't run perfectly. The rebuild kit for the fuel pump included a new diaphragm, new check valves and gaskets, and the rest of the pump looks OK, it does seem like a bad fuel pump, but I don't know what else could be bad in it, or how to diagnose that further.
