The Sleeping Bear dunes are fantastic. You have the desert-like dunes, the beautiful Lake Michigan vistas and trails and camping in and around the national park. Pets aren't allowed on the big dune which was a bummer but pets are allowed on (part of) the beautiful Lake Michigan beach and other areas in the park.
