The handgun is quite small and not as hard to control as a 1911. A lot of people also find this weapon more ergonomic and easy to handle compared to a Glock or a .45 ACP handgun. It’s not lightweight, but it’s not the heaviest gun you will handle either.Intended as a carry gun, STI builds the Staccato-C with a 4.5-pound trigger pull, which is lighter than your typical striker-fired, polymer-frame high-capacity pistol, but heavier than a target or ...

Was confused on specs I saw on staccato website. Thanks. I could go measure it but from their sites the C2 is essentially 7.5" from beaver tail to end of barrel vs my 19 gen 4 mos is 7.28". Height of gun from bottom of mag base plate to top of rear sight I'm assuming on the C2 is 4.94" vs 5.04" on my glock.

A bulk of the Prodigy issues seem to be worked out since the release. As mentioned Bul seems to be the way to go if you need a Stac alternative. If you plan on growing a collection of 2011's, I would consider that the Bul mags don't crossover to many current 2011 guns. If you have a Glock 17 (and a lot of mags), the Platypus is interesting.Steel vs aluminum, I just have the C2s, and use them for carry and training. Often my students play a passage faster because it is staccato, but this is a mistake. The tempo of the passage should remain the same, whether you play staccato or not. Staccato does not alter the duration of the rhythm "filled" by the note. So…even if we tap a note ...

The Staccato P is absolutely worth every penny. Picked up my Staccato P DPO with aluminum frame and threaded stainless steel barrel. The first magazine through it at 10 yards made one large ragged hole. It is hands down the best shooting pistol I own. Even better with an optic.

So much for what people know. The CS takes all of these attributes and adds to them with a metal flat faced trigger. The trigger shoe is fit excellently into the frame with very little play. I hope in the not to distant future these become standard across the Staccato range.Have my eyes set on the Staccato C2. For a premium pistol, they still worth the price compared to competitor/similarly priced handguns right now? Looking for accuracy and speed in 9 mm. I'd add a red dot and get a threaded barrel. That should be right under $3k with tax.Not worth it in my opinion anymore, the staccato really needs a grip revamp imo to get close to its value, you get grip work done on an optic ready model and it brings the total to 2600-2700 dollars. It's absolute ass of a grip in 2023, when a $500 gun like Walther is doing a better job, you really have no excuse calling yourself a premium product.Shares fell 7% after it was announced that mainland investors cannot trade it.
