Lower receiver has a pin to prevent moving a semi selector to the full auto position. The semi selector with lug to engage the pin in the receiver as noted above.

Well-known member. Stumbled on this offering while looking for some 7.62 nato. Made FDI, Indian which seems to be the same manufacturer or atleast related to SDI that makes the 5.56 that DSA and others were selling. Decent price at $.66 a round but probably closer to $.70 after shipping still not too bad.The 1970's OFV was made on machinery and tooling from Britain's Radway Green and supervised by Radway technicians and engineers. The ammo was a bit underpowered (Probably due to age and storage conditions) but otherwise is good stuff and the brass is quite good to reload. The 1990's and newer OFV was made on the same tooling, however, Radway ...The Marketplace feedback ratings system is now back. You can now leave feedback for your Buy / Sell / Trade transactions. Hence, the ability to use a big hidden vertical shaft. Now, to install the A2 sight on a FAL receiver, you would have to cut a hole in the lower receiver to allow the large supporting shaft to run up and down.

Hey guys, my first post and first FAL. Was hoping it would have been on a more positive note but I have some issues and need some direction. I recently purchased an Armscorp T48 L1A1 build. I couldn't use the DSA Para rear sight with a Type C as I recall. These are uglier but stronger than the others with regard to recoil-related splitting. If you're talking about the two-position sight, I'm not sure why they wouldn't work. The 1st Libyan contract rifles used a Type C stock with that type of rear sight.

His findings were a modern barrel does not screw in it. Also I have a link that talks about this on a website stating these are correct cut for israeli barrels. So the (match) does not mean competition match but match threads for israeli barrels. So theres atleast 2 that are known israeli thread cut. I would guess that they all are.

Problem is find the rest of the parts; followers, springs, retaining plates, etc. Can convert FAL metric mag if you can find L1A1 front tabs. The best receivers are: 1. Argentine FMAP (usually marked Century Sporter and having a serial number that starts with a C and ends with 4 numbers - CXXXX) 2. Imbel May be marked sporter or some such, seen on Century built guns post 1995.The way I figure it, each click on the front sight is worth about one centimeter at 100 meters. Here we go. You gotta move the sight .006" to achieve one minute-of-angle change (or one inch at 100 yards). So, for the metric you got .036" movement per revolution (6 minutes, therefore 6 inches at 100 yards.)Don't follow the military loading charts otherwise you'll be loading 26gr of 844 as max which can sometimes be over the max of the powder lot you have when reduced by 10%. And YES goddammit, I put HEAT on it as soon as I realized it wasn't going to release by ordinary effort. I bought this thing for two reasons. 1. As to markings, Imbel is Imbel and the markings on them don't change the value unless you're bringing the gear logo receivers into the conversation. Gear logos wouldn't be on those L1A1 builds anyway. #2.The 7.62x51 case has thicker brass at the base than .308 to ensure safety with the longer allowable heaspace. If your gun holds .308 headspace, as most will, with the possible exception of worn out surplus, I would consider firing .308 safe.
