The story feels so mono compared to other shows that have more character development and interaction. Though at the end of the day Bakugan was the result of a capitalist plot to sell more toys to kids, so character archs likely wasn't their priority sadly. Shun and Marucho's character arks got preatty much wrapped up in season 1.
I think it might work this way: you insert the red thingy into the bakugan to wind it up, you spin roll it onto the gate card, it opens and spins to knock the opponents bakugan off the gate card. But all and all it is a bold move for spinmaster to reboot bakugan so quickly and changing it so much.At least it's not as much as some of the MS ones go for. Older Bakugan can be pricey but there's only a few that actually go close or beyond this custom naga's price. Hmm. Well, season 1 and 2 ("Battle Brawlers" and "New Vestroia") are the most well-received. Season 3 "Gundalian Invaders" is not really well liked. And season 4 "Mechtanium Surge" has the fanbase loving the first half (1-26) but hating the second half (27-52). The dialogue can be cringe-worthy at times.

He's got 1 of almost every legacy Bakugan mold as well as almost every reboot bakugan in every attribute. Not sure what their goals were with this collection, there's a crap ton of repeats. It's pretty sizable sure, but as far as diversity it barely contains anything past season 2, and what it does have from season 1 and 2, it has several of each.
There’s a lot that are rarer than Hydranoid, it’s just it was a fan favorite, it really isn’t any rarer than white naga, specific versions of Helios mk II the originals of the new vestroia evos, and quite a few bakutech bakugan. Some that are more rare are the metal dragonoids, Golden fear ripper, crystal helios mk II, and Ikki tosen.
