Once every winter i fill my food and water meter, go to the storage, take 250 logs out from storage, produce all by myself 1000 firewood, take a pause from the game for a couple of minutes. Go back after a while. Put back in the storage 1000 firewood. Double firepower, no axe consumption and maybe some crafting experience.
