For further clarification-Due to a specification change from Apple, CarPlay was no longer able to be used from the center console or rear USB ports on any vehicle with software application level IR22.5 or higher. Facing a few weird issues.. - Car play stops working after a few days - Switching off the radio switches off the screen - Charging gets interrupted randomly, unplug and plug it back, charges to 100% Took it to a dealership to get these looked into.. and seems like there is a recall on the radio. I had a 2019 and always had issues with both CarPlay and BT audio….it would disconnect and connect again several times in a matter of 5 minutes.
