Really appreciate it! today I shot the Phase 4 29 against the Omnia from Elite, both are great shooting bows...Currently, the lightest bow in the market is a Hoyt bow. The list ended up being Mathews Lift in both flavors, the RX8, the Alpha X30, and the PSE Mach 30. Bows were all 70# and shot as close as possible to my DL of 27.5" as possible. New inventory meant some mods were missing and I had to shoot some of them a little long (28-28.5). What I'm used to shooting atm is a Hoyt Z1S at 71#. Mathews Lift 29.5

The Hoyt grip isn’t bad but for the price feels cheesy to me. I bought the V3 without shooting it wanting to try the shortest ATA on the market. It’s a really nice bow, but the Hoyt is a better bow IMHO. Also, I’m 6’1” and the string angle on the Mathews was a challenge (as expected). Nearly all of the reviews across all archery forums come to the same conclusion - Mathews and Hoyt are the top bows for 2022. I thought Elite and Bowtech closed the gap last year with their patented tuning systems. Most 2021 reviews and testing had the Elite Enkore and Bowtech Solution very competitive with Hoyt and Mathews.

The Hoyt was popular and pretty successful on the international stage, part of that being marketing/sponsorship but part of that also because it was a good shooter. Not quite as adjustable, especially if your DL falls between cams, and the draw cycle is a love it/hate it depending if you get the cams that are suitable to your preferences.
