There are filming locations scattered around Croatia ( Split area, Sibenik etc) but Dubrovnik (and surrounds) were the main sets.It is hot, bring water and a snack. There are toilets and 2 bars/cafes along the walk. All of the beaches in Croatia are rock or pebble, many also have sea urchins, which you do not want to step on, so water shoes or sea shoes are a definite must. All of the ports sell them though – cheapest ones we found were 50 kuna.
