So I’m new here and not sure exactly what works or doesn’t on these posts. I recently ran the 2.7 version of Star Wars Despecialized through Topaz AI software to see the outcome and had it upscale/uprez to 4K. It turned out pretty good except there is a lot of noise/film grain.

Too much to keep up with, especially DeSpecialized/Adywan, so I’m back into it again after perhaps 12 years. Official being, for RETURN OF THE JEDI: 1983 film print scan, 1997 Special Edition film print scan (Laserdisc/VHS which has the bonus as a ‘side’), 2004 DVDs, 2006 DVDs, 2011 Blu-ray discs, and 2019/2020 Disney+/4K&BD release.Mmmmmmmmm. This is the good stuff. That fuzzy quality, that muffled sound, love it. The HD era is great but nothing beats nostalgia.
