This is a great movie overall, but there are a few things parents should keep in mind before allowing their kids to watch it. First off, there is quite a bit of violence. At the beginning, a bunch of kids run to get weapons and supplies from the cornucopia, and half of them (12) are violently killed.That being said, die-hard adventure game fans will appreciate the challenge and the weight to their decisions that Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth allows.
