May 22, 2023 · Put manifold pictures on. 3 rib 450 gas, painted tractor 400 gas, LP tractor one started on late M, used SM and SMTA gas and LP on SM. Unpainted tractor one used on most M tractors. Would need to check but going by memory I don't think the LP manifold pictured in other post started until part of the SM LP tractors. A 248 ( M block ) can have " thin wall " sleeves installed which makes it into a 264. A 264 ( super M , 400 block ) can have " thin wall " sleeves installed which makes it a 281. A 248 ( M block ) could be bored up to the parent bore diameter of the 264 block and then putting in thin wall sleeves it would be stepped up a 281.
