Oct 11, 2022 · How to Sword Skate in Destiny 2. The basic version of sword skating is quite simple. You just need a specific sword from the 30th Anniversary update. One of the swords you are looking for is the Half-Truths, The other sword is called The Other Half. Both can be found in the Dares of Eternity activity. You start a sword skate and pretty much spam the Icarus Dash button. The timing is kind of tight between the burst of speed and the Icarus dash itself. To start a sword skate you use your sword in the air and while the animation is "occurring" you press jump again. Keep in mind that this only works on Burst Glide.The bandwidth isn’t great but more than enough for Destiny, but Destiny is very sensitive to fluctuations (and if everyone is using Internet at once it really strains things).
