Hey everyone! I'm taking a COMSAE on Monday to gauge where I'm at for my Level 1 the following week. I've already taken ASA 106. Does anybody have any suggestions? Also, is COMLEX like COMQUEST or COMBANK? I found COMBANK way harder than COMQUEST personally.All examination questions are single-best-answer, multiple-choice format. How'd you end up scoring compared to…. It was like a huge recycle of 101-105. I found at least 30 identical questions on 108. 109 was different but super easy. I had a friend take 110 and that was their lowest COMSAE, so maybe stick to those. 104 and 105 are harder for sure and I think people were getting more similar scores doing those two. I took ALL of them except 110.

Otherwise I'd recommend getting 1-3 COMSAE's (any of them) if you want to give yourself a rough idea of where you are at. Feel free to supplement with previous UFAPS material. I bought First Aid for Step/Level 2 and it's been pretty helpful too.

Started doing Comquest, random, but tutor mode (to be able to read explanations while question stem is fresh), blocks of 40 (sometimes 44) questions. Did 3 blocks so far - got about 55 to 63% average. AFAIK just to pass - you need to be >60% on random. I really like Comquest compared to Combank.Don't waste your money tbh; one score above 450 has a high chance of passing, so two only solidifies that chance. Focus on high yield OMM, biostats, micro, and any other weaknesses you currently have, and you should be more than ready. You got this! If I were in your position I would just keep doing Truelearn since you can review those questions.

6/6/22 (today) - COMSAE Phase 1 ASA 110 - 574 Current UW% - 47% with 21% used, 1st pass Current TrueLearn% - 57% with 26.6% used, 1st pass ... I also plan to take another COMSAE and NBME back to back on Thursday or Friday to simulate a full test day. My Step 1 is 6/16 so I have time to move that if I don't feel comfortable.

Finished without double checking and about 40 minutes left on the entire practice test. I used every second on the actual thing even though I finished each "section" of 44Qs with ~8 minutes left. Before taking COMSAE, I did not review biostats since taking Step 2 the month prior and OMM COMAT 2 months prior.
