Starting stats were 8/14/15/8/12/17, increased to 8/14/16/8/12/20 during leveling. The gear I used was balanced between survivability and spell power. Going higher than level 1 means you lose fighter 11 which is worse than almost anything cleric can give you. Most people dip cleric cause it keeps spell progression and gives spellcasters armor, you have neither of those needs.
