But the damage that it does (says it's an XXL boost, which is like 25%, but in reality it's nearly 35% like 17's Soul used to be) is way too good to pass up. Plus almost all those negatives go away when you use an Awoken like PU.

If you use nap time super soul with meditation you have no ki regen on SSBE. If you use Fu’s you get a small ki regen. So it is up to you what you want. Personally Super Vegeta 2 with Fu’s super soul is a pretty hefty damage dealer, you’ll be doing extra damage while generating ki pretty fast to keep dps pretty constant.
