Just keep pushing through protest since there wouldn’t be time to do something like Ross (which is more relevant to actual practice rather than the shelf).

TBH, after buying those practice exams, I don't find the NBME explanation super helpful. Most of the time, they give you a 1-liner reason for why the answer is right and then repeat that 1-liner in the "concept to learn" portion at the end of the explanations. If you are expecting UWorld level explanations, the NBMEs won't provide that.
