When The pin comes out, try holding the mainspring housing in place as best you can. That keeps the sear spring from getting dislodged and also keeps the firing pin strut on the mainspring cap. I prefer to carry the C2. You give-up a little shoot-ability for size. The C2 grip fits my hand perfectly. If you go with the P, just take off the magwell for carry. (you'll need a shorter MSH pin). For me, the P falls into an occasional carry, mostly range gun. Shot my DWX against a stock Staccato P today and it made me like the DWX that much better. Flat trigger, trigger (EGW kit) was way lighter, and the reset was shorter. The staccato still felt a little top heavy to me also. Both guns were pretty new.
