The easiest way to convert your revolver would be to have a gunsmith machine the cylinder to take moonclips. Since the 357 is slightly larger in diameter, moonclips will allow for a rimless cartridge to be seated. Now the cost for this can be anywhere around $250-350.

I am wondering if anyone knows what the bore diameter is on a 1980's manufactured Security Six. I am interested in purchasing one and may be interested in having the cylinder milled for 9mm and moon clips.The .357 Mag. GunBroker has a lot of Six series guns but prices are creeping up. I'm also a huge fan of the Sixes, but even 2 years ago I was getting thrashed looking blue trade in .38 Service Sixes for $200. You won't find these any more. The 2 3/4" Sixes are also shooting up in value, and are the hardest to find.
