You have to be inside the entire time the Helicopter is in the area and you cannot be seen at any point from the outside. Being in view from an open window could spell your doom. Making any noise can also alert the Helicopter to your presence.Edit: Third day of these bombing raids, they seem to pull mass numbers of zombies to an area then a helicopter appears and kites them around it seems. Ran around the area for a whole in game day and found nothing but fields of zombies chasing this helicopter around. Just FYI, the helicopter can/will fly away and refuel before returning several times before the actual end of the helicopter event, Or at least it used to; That would be perfectly normal behavior. Read the mod description, it will give you a better idea of the different events. Basically it adds a variety of different events compared to what the default behavior is, and if you have the scheduling forever it will continue to have events far into the play through.
