The quests are failed at that point anyway, since the random quests must be finished before season end.Is it game mechanically necessary to sleep at night? I have the feeling that NPCs get buggy (no more interaction possible) if you work through the nights.

I'm always bored waiting over the winter and the summer, and I'm in year 9 with max buildings and 200,000 money. Kinda wish you could sleep for the season whenever your wanted. Long term village = 5 Days Short term village = 3 days. I do 3 days per season and its getting boring after you build almost everything.
