The EK practice exams and UWorld both seemed a lot harder than the actual MCAT. The SB and the AAMC full lengths were about the same level of difficulty. I went into the test center feeling pretty good. I had a great night of sleep and a good breakfast. Up until a week before the exam, I was feeling very nervous.

To clarify, if we're comparing strictly in terms of difficulty, AAMC practice tests are probably easier (they were easier than all third party tests by a mile). But if someone is looking for best practice, I always recommend AAMC material because it's critical to understand the AAMC writers' reasoning process to do well on real deal.The AAMC basically took the old questions that were relevant to the new MCAT and repackaged them. I personally believe UWORLD is much harder. The impression I got is that OP is at the start of AAMC qpack 1, which is probably some of the tougher passages out there. It gets much better about 1/3 of the way through it, to the point it’s much easier than UWORLD. The PS was very representative and the style of the BB passages was representative as well.
