Acura mdx push button start problems.
The push button on the dash was a later advancement from the floor start. I do not remember if any of the dash mounted push buttons were still on cars in the 50's or not. I am sure there were all gone by the mid 50's.
Your battery might be completely fine. If you can't depress the brake pedal enough for it to sense that it is being pushed, the car has a starter lockout that will prevent it from starting.
